What We Do

The state of Mississippi understands the importance of responding to our labor market needs. Through that understanding, the 15 community colleges of the state have been appointed to provide valuable workforce training options to employers and individuals alike. The State of Mississippi has designated the Workforce Enhancement Training (WET) fund to be administered by the Mississippi Community College Board, and to be utilized by the community colleges to provide short-term training programs to teach employees the skills they need to be productive and successful.
We believe partnerships are important to the development of our local workforce. King's Daughters Medical Center Chief Human Resources Officer Celine Craig takes a moment to share how her organization has benefited from the partnership with Copiah-Lincoln Community College Workforce Education.
