Lineman Training

Overview
The Electrical Lineman Program is a 16-week non-credit workforce training program that, when completed, provides graduates with nine credentials: National Electric Codes, National Safety Electric Codes, Multi-Meter, OSHA-10, Forklift, First Aid/CPR, 40-hours climbing, and Pole-Top Rescue
Magnolia Electric Power, Southwest Electric, Southern Pine Electric, and other utility companies in the area, have partnered to establish and support this lineman program through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Career, Technical, and Workforce Education Center.
NOTICE - All students must possess a valid CDL permit by the first day of class.

Entrance Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Transcript or Diploma for High School or HS Equivalent
- Score on ACT 16 or on ACT WorkKeys - Silver Level.
- Current Driver’s License
- CDL "Class A" Permit or License
