Lineman Training

The Electrical Lineman Program is a 16-week non-credit workforce training program that, when completed, provides graduates with nine credentials: National Electric Codes, National Safety Electric Codes, Multi-Meter, OSHA-10, Forklift, First Aid/CPR, 40-hours climbing, and Pole-Top Rescue

Magnolia Electric Power, Southwest Electric, and Southern Pine Electric, and other utility companies in the area, have partnered to establish and support this lineman program through the Copiah-Lincoln Community College Career, Technical, and Workforce Education Center.

NOTICE - New Prerequisite (effective for the AUGUST 2022 Lineman session): All students must obtain their Class "A" CDL PRIOR to class entry.
