Workforce Career Skill Training

Career training programs are designed to affordably prepare students for employment or improve upon existing skills in a short amount of time.  Entry into programs through workforce education does not provide college credit.

CARES Act/ReSkillMS

In a recent announcement made by the Governor, the ReSkillMS program was introduced as the newest program designed to help individuals adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic find jobs and also support employers who want to hire and train new employees on the job. The state legislature is using a portion of the $1.25 billion received in federal funds through the CARES Act to fund ReSkillMS.

Now through December 2020, Copiah-Lincoln Community College Workforce Education will offer tuition-free, short-term training funded through the ReSkillMS program. (Some supply fees may be the responsibility of the student.)
