The CNA program prepares students to provide basic patient care under the supervision of nursing staff in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and home health settings. Students gain hands-on experience in vital signs monitoring, hygiene assistance, and patient mobility. Upon successful completion, students are eligible to take the state certification exam to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
The Phlebotomy program trains students in the proper techniques of blood collection, specimen handling, and patient interaction. Instruction includes safety protocols, venipuncture procedures, and anatomy relevant to blood draws. Graduates are prepared to sit for national certification and pursue employment in hospitals, labs, clinics, and donor centers.
Entrance Requirements
- Age 18 or older
- A Score of 14 on the ACT OR Bronze Level on ACT WorkKeys Assessment.
- SUBMIT a completed Physical / CLCC Health Occupations Examination Report
- SUBMIT a copy of Negative Drug Screen Results on Nine Panel Drug Screen.
- PROVIDE a Copy of Immunization Records
- SUBMIT Hep. B Proof of Vaccination or signed Declination Form
